Ferloscardo - technical rider so solo

technical rider

1. stage and set

The stage should be at least 10m wide (+ backstage and service area), 12m deep and the grid must be at least 8m high.
The stage floor must be levelled (no inclination at all) and non reflective black in all acting areas.(dance floor covering)
The backdrop should be at least 4m larger then the proscenium opening and the legs and/or other drops should be placed to create a black box preserving stage entrances on both sides down stage aligning wit the backdrop.

Our set is mainly composed by 1 cubic meter of sand divided into two sections and a structure build from scaffold pipes.
The Company will provide a protection for the sand covered areas and pads for the scaffold structure.

2. Material de iluminação

House lights must be controlled by DMX512.
We need total blackout during most of the performance, so any light source like structural openings and any other light source that might interfer with the stage lighting must be covered or dimmed during our show.

Lighting material to be supplied by the venue:

  • 96 - canais 16A@220V of digital dimmers DMX512 + 2 ch. 5kW DMX512
  • we will bring the lighting desk with us (3pin DMX512 connection).
  • 36 - floor bases
  • 10 - PC (prismconvex) 1kW with barndoors, gel holder, hook etc.
  • 21 - PC (prismconvex) 2kW with barndoors, gel holder, hook etc.
  • 17 - profiles 1kW with gel holder, hook and shutters (15-42; please confirm for other beam angles)
  • 15 - profiles 1kW with gel holder, hook and shutters (25-50; please confirm for other beam angles)
  • 01 - HMI 2.5kW ou 3 Fresnell 2kW
  • 01 - Fresnell 5kW
  • 22 - Assymetric Cyclorama Flood 1kW

the HMI 2.5kW and the 5kW Fresnell might be replaced with other instruments according to the local conditions

the drawing below is just an example, please send us a sketch of your venue we'll try to adapt the technical specifications.

3. Som

Public Address:

4 independent sources:

  • left and right clusters providing each full coverage for the audience (+/- 3dB SPL A-weighted) with expected linear response 20Hz-20kHz / +/-3dB providing 95 dB SPL (A-weighted) at mixing position reserving at least 12dBu overall system headroom
    - preferred brands: D&B C series, Kling&Freitag CA series, JBL VRX series, HK contour series
  • 4 x 12 inch speakers on stands (for rear stereo effects)
    - in venues larger than 500 seats it should be 6 speakers
    - if there are any balconies or similar in the venue the speakers must be placed and/or multiplied in order to guarantee coverage of those areas
    - the menctioned speakers might be replaced by an existing cinema surround system
    this replacement is subject to approval by the company
    - preferred brands: D&B MAX 12, Kling&Freitag CA 1215, Meyer UPA

Stage Sound:
  • 2 monitors, preferrably bi-amped, on speaker stands
    preferred brands: D&B MAX 12, Kling&Freitag CA 1215, Meyer UPA
Process:
F.O.H. mixing desk:
the desk and its outboard should never be placed in a control room - it has to be placed within the audience
  • minimum 16 channels with 4 band paramatric (or sweep) EQ, low cut, insert, phase reverse and individual phantom power
  • must have at least 4 post fader aux sends and 8 VCA's
  • preferred brands:
    Analog:MIDAS, Yamaha PM series, Soundcraft MH series
    Digital: Soundcraft VI-6, PM5D RH (Roland or Behringer consoles are not accepted under any circumstances!)
    outboard:
  • 4 channels graphic EQ 1/3 octave 31 bands to be inserted into the public adress sends
    preferred brands: Klark Teknik DN360/DN370

4. Camarins e espaços auxiliares

We will need 2 dressing rooms (at least one of them with a warm water shower) for 2 persons each.
The access to the stage and to the sound/lighting both should be as direct as possible and not accessible to the audience.
Please provide at least 1l of still mineral water for each of our crew members every of or stay.
If possible, we would like to have wired (LAN) internet access in at least one of the dressing rooms.

5. Serviços de lavandaria

After each performance we'll need to dry wash one coat, one jacket and to handwash one dress.
Please confirm on upon the companies arrival.
